Outsourced Finance Department Ireland — Without the Full-Time Price Tag
An outsourced finance department Ireland-wide for growing companies: bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, monthly management accounts, cash-flow forecasting and finance-director support, for one fixed monthly fee instead of a full-time hire. Run by a Chartered Accountant, fully online.

- Fixed, published fees
- Fully online, anywhere in Ireland
Signs you have outgrown your finance set-up
Cash catches you by surprise
Profitable on paper, but a VAT bill or a slow payer leaves you scrambling.
Figures months out of date
By the time you see last quarter, the quarter is long gone.
Big decisions on a hunch
Hiring, pricing and contracts, with nobody putting the numbers in front of you.
A full-time controller feels premature
Salary, PRSI, pension and recruitment risk, before you are sure you need it.
A bookkeeper, but no interpretation
Nobody to explain what the numbers mean or what to do about them.
Growth has added complexity
Systems that worked at a smaller size are starting to creak.
How I can help
Instead of hiring, you plug in a finance function built around where the business is now and where it is going.
Day-to-day finance
Transactions recorded, the bank reconciled, ledgers managed, VAT prepared and reporting produced — as one complete function.
Financial controller support
Monthly management accounts, proper controls over spending and cash, and a firm hand on compliance.
Finance-director advice
Strategy, big decisions and funding preparation — board-level thinking without a board-level salary.
Cash-flow forecasting
A rolling forecast, so the peaks, troughs and tax bills are seen well in advance.
Budgets and KPIs
Budgets tracked against actual performance every month, with the KPIs that matter for you.
Decision support
Thinking of hiring, pricing a new product or taking on a contract? I run the numbers and give you a straight answer.
Who this suits
- Growing Irish SMEs and owner-managed companies that have outgrown a simple bookkeeper but are not ready to employ a full-time finance lead — typically turning over from around €500,000.
- Companies with a bank facility or investors that need regular, reliable reporting.
- Businesses with an in-house bookkeeper who want the controller and finance-director layer on top.
Fixed, published fees
Every fee is fixed and agreed in writing before any work starts — no hourly billing and no surprises. See all my prices
How this works online
Everything is handled online — no office visits and nothing to post, wherever you are in Ireland. Meetings by video or phone, records shared through your accounting software (Xero, Sage or QuickBooks), a secure portal or email, documents signed electronically, and the same Chartered Accountant every time. Common questions about an outsourced finance department
How is this different from a bookkeeper or accountant?
A bookkeeper records transactions and a traditional accountant files year-end accounts. An outsourced finance department does both, plus the missing middle: timely management accounts, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and advice, all year round.
Will I lose control of my finances?
The opposite. Most owners feel more in control, because they finally have accurate, current figures and someone explaining them.
Can you work alongside our current bookkeeper?
Yes. Some clients keep an in-house bookkeeper for data entry while I provide the controller and finance-director layer.
We are behind on our books. Can you still help?
Yes. I bring everything up to date, get you compliant, and keep it that way.
Can I scale the service up or down?
Yes. Start with bookkeeping and reporting and add finance-director support later, or scale back if your needs change.
What if we hire our own finance person later?
That is a good problem to have. I will hand over cleanly, or stay on in an advisory role.
