How Working with KPG Accounting Services Online Works

KPG Accounting Services is a fully online accountancy practice. There is no office to visit and nothing to post — everything from your first call to your year-end accounts is handled securely online. It works the same whether you're in Donegal, Cork or Dublin. Here's exactly what to expect when online accounting works for you.

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Xero certified advisor
  • Fixed, published fees
  • Fully online, anywhere in Ireland

How online accounting works, step by step

  1. A free 20-minute call. By video or phone, at a time that suits you. We talk about your business, what you need and what you're unhappy with now.
  2. A fixed quote in writing. One fee, with what's included and where the limits are. Nothing starts until you've agreed it.
  3. Onboarding in one to two weeks. You sign an engagement letter electronically and complete identity checks online. With your authority, I contact your previous accountant, collect your records and register as your agent with Revenue and the CRO. You don't have to chase anyone.
  4. Your records, set up once. Bookkeeping lives in cloud accounting software: Xero, Sage or QuickBooks, or whichever package you already use. Bank feeds replace bank statements, receipts are photographed on your phone and uploaded, and documents can be shared through a secure portal or by email — whichever is easier for you.
  5. Ongoing support. You deal with the same Chartered Accountant every time. Ask by email, phone or video; replies within one working day. You hear from me before every deadline with exactly what I need.
  6. Year end without the scramble. Accounts and returns are prepared from records that are already up to date, sent to you for review, and signed electronically.

Why clients choose an online accountant

No travel, no post

Everything is handled online, so it fits around your working day wherever you're based.

Up-to-date numbers

Because your records are in the cloud, you can see how the year is going at any time — not months after year end.

One person, all the way through

The same Chartered Accountant from your first call to your annual accounts. You never have to explain your business twice.

Keeping your information secure

Your financial information is confidential. Documents are stored in secure, password-protected cloud systems with access limited to the people who need it. Files containing sensitive information are password protected when sent, everything is handled in line with GDPR and my professional obligations as a Chartered Accountant, and nothing is shared without your authority.

Who this suits

  • Sole traders who want the tax side handled properly without the paperwork.
  • Owner-managed limited companies that want one accountant for accounts, tax, payroll and the CRO.
  • Landlords who need a rental tax return filed on time.
  • Consultants, contractors and hauliers who are rarely at a desk and need things done without office visits.
  • Directors based outside Ireland setting up or running an Irish company, who need a registered office and help with the director residency rules.

Questions about working online

I'm not in Dublin. Can I still work with KPG Accounting Services?

Yes. The practice is fully online and works with clients anywhere in Ireland. KPG Accounting Services' own Dublin address is its registered office for correspondence only — there is no client office.

Will I ever need to meet in person?

No. Meetings are by video or phone, arranged to suit you.

How do I send my records?

Whatever is easiest for you: through your accounting software and bank feeds, a receipt app on your phone, a secure portal, or by email. Nothing needs to go in the post.

Is my financial information secure?

Yes. Records are held in reputable cloud systems with controlled access, and handled in line with GDPR and professional confidentiality obligations.

Do I need to use Xero?

No. Xero is recommended and can be set up for you, but Sage, QuickBooks and other accounting packages you already use are supported too.

How do I switch from my current accountant?

Sign a letter of authority and I handle the rest: professional clearance, records, and Revenue and CRO agent links. You can switch at any time of year.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within one working day.

How are fees agreed?

Fixed fees, published on the pricing page and confirmed in writing before any work starts.

Can you work with my existing bookkeeper?

Yes. Your bookkeeper keeps the books and I handle the accounts, tax and filings.

What if my records are behind?

I review them first and quote any catch-up work as a fixed fee before starting.

I live outside Ireland. Can you help me set up and run an Irish company?

Yes. Because everything is online, it works the same from abroad. I can form the company, provide a registered office address, handle Revenue and RBO registrations, and help you meet the EEA-resident director requirement — including arranging a Section 137 bond where needed.
